In April, I had a wonderful opportunity to present a full day workshop for the Women in Leadership series sponsored by the Institute of Public Administration at The University of Ireland in Dublin.
I met a fantastic group of women who work in Irish Government roles. We talked about building trust and authenticity in the workplace and the servant-leadership model for consideration in the Irish context.
Three powerful women agreed to participate in a panel and speak about the challenges of leadership. These three extraordinary leaders were Danyanne Quemper, Carol Scheffer, and Iris Lyle. That's Danyanne and Carol to the left in this photo.
Danyanne leads the LIFT program for women in the the Irish Congress of Trade Unions; Carol is a National Officer with the Communications' Workers Union, Iris is the INVOLVE Co-ordinator for the Blancardstown, Dublin project. INVOLVE is focused on increasing the involvement of women in decision making in Blandardstown.
I'll post some of the leadership survey results from this workshop on my next blog.
Until then, best wishes!
